When you have selected your size, shape and quantity you can upload your print ready artwork or design your own with our online designer. If you already have your artwork please make sure to allow 3mm bleed on all sides, and supply as a CMYK PDF with all fonts outlined or embedded and with a resolution of 300dpi. You can download our handy templates below to assist with setting up your artwork. Please read the Technical Specifications tab†for more information on artwork setup.
How to set your artwork file for custom cutting to shape
Make a new file
Download our artwork templates from any Vinyl product page on our website. Select the required template and adjust to your desired specifications. Alternatively, create a new file with the same dimensions as your label, and remember to add a 3mm bleed on each side.
Create a new layer from the Layers palette, and name it Artwork. This layer will be used to place or create your CMYK artwork.
Create a cutting guide
Create another new layer from the Layers palette, and name it CutContour. Please note, this is case sensitive.
Create a new colour swatch from the Swatches palette and name it CutContour. Please note, this is case sensitive. Select Spot Colour as the Colour Type and assign CMYK percentages as follows: C:0, M:100, Y:0, K:0.
Create a vector path on the CutContour layer which corresponds to the cut line for your sticker, and assign it a stroke colour that corresponds to the newly-created CutContour swatch.
Please ensure that the stroke is a thickness of 0.25pt (0.088mm).
Save artwork as a PDF
Prior to submitting your artwork for printing, please save your artwork as a PDF/X-1a or High Quality Print
